TEACHING

Talissa is one of the best dance teachers I have ever taken class with. Her approach of building strength and technique through a fast-paced, yet accessible warm-up and dynamic stretching have helped me to grow my skills by leaps and bounds. The heart and highlight of Talissa’s classes is her choreography, which is both challenging and a joy to learn! Her choreo can range from delicate and nuanced to sharp and energetic, sometimes in the same phrase. These dynamic changes have helped me to grow as an artist and dancer and are so rewarding to practice and develop. Coming to Talissa’s classes - whether it’s learning a complex new contemporary routine or the history of house dance in hip-hop - is always a highlight of my week. I can’t wait to see what we learn next!
— Caitlin, adult student
Ms. Talissa is such a fun and amazing teacher. After taking her classes multiple times a week for the past two years, I have truly grown as a dancer. She pushes me to my limits, but aways in the most encouraging way. Her choreography is fun, powerful, and dynamic. I look forward to her class every time!
— Navah, teen student
Talissa is an amazing teacher and my son loves attending her dance classes! She fuels his love for dancing and provides a space where he and his classmates can freely express their creativity through movement. He has shown real progress since joining her class and, more importantly, he’s been having so much fun!
— Suzanne, parent of child student

Ms. Talissa is an incredible teacher! We couldn’t say enough amazing things about her teaching style, choreography, and patience. As beginner dancers, she did an amazing job guiding us through each part of our ambitious dance routine. Everyone at our wedding loved our first dance, and we can’t thank her enough for helping us!
